After studying painting and drawing at Morley College and UAL (London) I went onto St Martins College of Art to study foundation

My career took me into architecture where I have practised and taught for a number of years both in London and South Wales, while maintaining my enjoyment of painting and drawing alongside my practice.

I love the immediate impact of working in 2D, mixing colours, shapes and textures on the canvas to achieve the composition that I want and which takes so much longer in 3D  building.

After living in London for 10-15 years I moved back to Wales, where the form and colour of the landscape has always delighted me and gives me inspiration for drawing and painting.
